How much hair do I need?

We recommend buying 2 bundles for lengths 14” to 18”. We recommend 3 bundles for lengths 20″or longer. Each bundles weighs 3. 5 ounces. Keep in mind that since the hair is sold by total weight the rule is: “The longer the hair, the shorter the weft.” This goes for traditional sew-ins, u-part units and full units with a frontal/closure.

Can I color my It Girl Extensions?

Yes, all of our extensions can be colored and bleached. We recommend that our customers get the hair professionally colored and bleached to ensure the best quality. We are not responsible for any hair that may be messed up in the process of coloring. Please follow the proper steps to take care of your extensions.

– Shampoo at least once a week using a gentle, pH-balanced shampoo (pH 7 or lower).
 – Avoid scrubbing or massaging the hair to prevent tangling.

 – Rinse well and allow the hair to air dry for best results.
